I had decided before the clock struck twelve this year that I was going to approach my "resolutions" differently this year. I have been successful in the past quitting smoking and other devilish habits, but I wanted to take it to the next level of commitment. To be more thorough with what this new achievement would be and how it would effect me this month. To make it stick I guess you could say!
My Goal (resolution) for January:
#1) To reevaluate my business plan and see what is working and what is not.
This goes under my pictures, how I present myself, my web pages, my descriptions, new work, where I am selling, traffic, etc.
Seems like a lot but if you look at it as one item it is not that overwhelming (to me anyway). Spruce things up and look at different locations for selling my work and avenues to advertise.
This is what I picked up and I cannot really say what level of helpfulness it is since I just started reading it. I guess though anything that points you in a positive direction is worth considering. I can say though that it has made me think of things that would not have occurred to me right away.
I really liked the book more than the movie, but this saying really stuck with me. Making things happen rather than wondering why they are not.
Happy Sunday to you!
Shop update and New work will be posted on Tuesday. Thanks so much for stopping by!

I picked up this book just before all hell broke loose here...Now I must find it...Probably under the wrapping or copious boxes of dark chocolate. :)
Good luck with your plans...

Thank you so much! I know this year will be something wonderful.
Kathleen - love that quote! I would like to send that to about 5 people in my family! I also saw a poster on Etsy that reads "Get on your knees and pray, then on get on your feet and work"....or something to that effect....be grateful for you what you have then get to work! I have to get that and hang it someplace prominent for my kids to see every day. Good luck with your new years resolutions!
