Getting Into the Halloween spirit is not hard for me I love it so much.  I think we carved out four pumpkins so far and I have eight.  I have not done the final touches on them,  but here is what I did last year and I think they came out great.

                                                                Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

There was also alot  of scarecrow making at my daughters school here are some highlights. In total there were 32! Which is really amazing and fun.  I think they all turned out great, and  here are my favorites.  I did a long shot of the row to give you an idea of  all the Frightfulness!

Here are some fun things you can do for you or with a child to give your porch some creepiness!

I also loved the Halloween pictures on her site today celebrating this weekend.

Broccoli and Cheese Soup

I posted the other day about the blog  For the love of cooking and her site full of recipes and goodness.  I love to cook but really not a fan of trying to figure out what to make.  Making the same things the same way gets boring so I have been pouring myself over this site and my printer is on over drive!  I will be trying some things here and there from that site so I will keep you posted on some of my favorites when I can.

The broccoli cheese Yum and if you are a fan of that soup you really will love it!

Lets just be honest its hard to go wrong with cheese!

I have a few earrings that will be posted today and thankful most of my started projects are coming to a completion.

Baking, Jewelry, Sugar Addictions oh my!

A Wonderful artist is having a giveaway and here is the link.  Her jewelry is really beautiful if you aren't familiar with her shop.

On a side note I have been baking like a fiend.  I wonder if its the cool fall air or the sugar limitations I have been giving myself as of late.  Maybe its both but I am game!   Banana Nut Muffins, Pumpkin bread, Chocolate Chip Muffins......Yeah I went a bit nuts!

Yes I already violated this one~!

My tumbler has been going most of the day and hopefully tomorrow I can post more items to my new shop.

See you later!

Shop Opened

Already Spoken for But this beaten to death ring really was fun to make.  I made a round one you will see below.

Simple, Classic, Sexy......Enough said!

Love love love these because they can go day to night and really are simple and beautiful.  They were really fun to make and have been playing with different kinds of hoops I will be listing in my shop in the next week.

I have been taking my time having a bit of fun listing things.  Spreading the love through all the shops and getting ready for the holidays.

Hi there!

I haven't posted much due to the redo on my workshop with some new tool additions.  I am having such  happy thoughts of adding a rolling mill and making room for it.  I also added a drill press and a work table that is something to behold.  I will post more pics when the mill and drill press arrive.  I have also been getting a totally handmade shop together with banners, goals, and a few pieces that were commissioned.  All are in the process of being finished.   I will have the new shop on the side of my blog and a few staples in sterling silver in the shop to start for the holidays.    I know fully stocking it might be impossible this year with my late opening.  That is OK though.  You  can never rush a good thing.  This time last year I was thinking about opening a shop of assembled jewelry and now I have two shops and one on the way!

I did want to post today about a wonderful food blog that I just found.  Maybe you have seen it or tried her recipes.  The Spanish rice was something I loved.  I did do a twist on it for myself loving cilantro and green olives.  Green olives give Spanish rice a wonderful flavor.  If you haven't tried it yet.  You really need to.  Cilantro you just cannot get dried.  The taste isn't the same and being fresh you get such an alive wonderful taste.  I copied the link to her blog.  I spent an hour (I should have been working shh don't tell!)  on that site eyeing up some soups, because my favorite time of year is here!

Fall the colors, the sharp sting of the wind, the crunch of the leaves, the rainbow of colors of leaves falling like snow when the wind blows,  everyone getting that bit of pep back they lost in the heat........can you tell I am in love with this season?

OK well I am happy to be back and really feel my creativity flowing and hopefully soon I can share more with you!

here is the recipe in all its glory.  Remember to try it with some olives and cilantro (make sure you cook the olives in the rice not just throw them in -- I like to half them or chop them up to spread out the flavor)

I also made these and they were delish as well
