Gadgets

I have come across a few gadgets that I have loved and thought I would share.  Crafters Unite!

The first one is Merchant on the Move.  It really is a great idea for crafters who work trade shows!  I am so loving this.  One day!

The next one  is a machine that converts business cards into Earring cards.  Simply and without tears.  It is Easy Earring Card Punch Set.

I also came across a network that lets you mail them items and sell them.  A show you do not have to show up for!  Well you have to send your items in a timely manner and be accepted by them.  Other than that it is just postage and creating.  Love that idea.  Here is the site to check it out!

If you have something you came across I would love to hear about it!

thanks for stopping by to see me!

Weekend Sandwiches

The first one is a Tuna and Sun dried Tomato Sandwich and is my own recipe.  I sometimes use leftover chicken or turkey instead of tuna.

Ingredients

2 - 6 ounce cans of chunk light tuna in water, drained
1/4 c. minced oil packed sun dried tomatoes, drained
2 tbs. fat-free mayo
2 tbs. chopped fresh parsley
1 tbs. sweet pickle or dill  relish
1 tbs. minced red onion
salt and pepper to taste
bread of your choice
lettuce
1/2  medium size cucumber, sliced thin

Directions

In a medium bowl, combine  mayo, tuna, relish, sun dried tomatoes, parsley, and onion.  Season with Salt and Pepper.   Put on bread with lettuce, and cucumber slices.  I sometimes add some green onion....up to you!

Next up is a recipe from Closet Cooking and is Chicken Salad Sandwich with Roasted Red Peppers and Feta .  It is really good!  His site is another must for people who love to cook!

One Pissed Off Cat

I would hate to see that coming around the corner during a run!

It might be the hat upsetting him!  Have a wonderful Friday!

Decorating with Maps

I  have a new obsession and it's maps!  I love the color of these pillows by My Bearded Pigeon.  They all are beautiful and give a shout out to where you want to visit or lived.  My three  favorites are  Paris, Africa, and Chicago.

By the way... I made Chicken Tortilla Soup and loved it!  I added some black beans, corn, and other vegetables I had lying about to beef it up.

Looking at Recipes in a New Way

Marina Aurora is a talented photographer, but my favorites are photographs of complete recipes.  I love this unique idea! The ingredients and step-by-step instructions from start to finish are laid out in one single photograph. Makes you feel like you're right there in the kitchen with her learning .

This sign is so me!  Probably why I enjoy the recipes in a photograph.

Funny or Creepy You Decide!

I don't know about you, but I thought this was funny.  I do have a weird sense of humor so you be the judge!

What I Cooked Yesterday!

 Two things I loved yesterday.

One is Tuscan White Bean and Roasted Garlic Soup from For the Love of Cooking , but  I added a generous pinch of  cumin and oregano for some extra flavor.   I  accompanied  the soup with Garlic bread ( because clearly I had  not eaten enough garlic in the soup!) and a salad.

AND  Two is a cute picture I saw on Facebook yesterday.  I collect pictures of cute animals for  my daughter and put them on her Ipod!  I think she will love this one.

Audrey and Her Wisdom

"…I believe laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing; kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day, and I believe in miracles."

- Audrey Hepburn

The Art of Crochet

WooWork.com makes Crochet pieces and turns them into three dimensional  art.   He crochets phones, people, and whole scenes to make his vision come alive.   He is amazing!

Here are some examples from his website and here is his   flickr .
